Fourth Time's A Charm For This Labor Of Love - DVI Podcast 071 - The Eisenhowers' Ray Weir

This particular episode of the DVIP has become a labor of love..."labor" being the operative term. It literally took four tries to get this interview recorded. I think it was well worth the effort.

My guest this week is Ray Weir, from the band The Eisenhowers, and Gum. We talk about The Eisenhowers' new CD Film Your Own Atrocities. We play some tracks from the album, as well as a few older ones too.

You can find the Eisenhowers' web site HERE.

You can find the Myspace page HERE.

You can buy the music HERE.

Here's the link to the show's MP3 FILE. (Right click and "save as...")

WHILE YOUR CONSCIOUSNESS WAS SLEEPING....this fine piece of Podcasting was being made to cunningly invade our left-midbrain and awaken our minds to classic 21st century pop!Pollie and the inimitable Ray Weir from Gum and the 'unband' the Eisenhowers explore and explain the musical recesses other spin-doctors fail to reach and leave you gasping for more.Neo -classics like 'Less than Nothing ' and the soon to be worldwide hit 'Chinese Whispers' should have you scrambling for your download buttons and will nestle quietly and contentedly in your brain for days,so don't leave home without them. Some potted history of the music's genesis and the music's creation all add up t a fine listen which is well worth revisiting again after you have 'Film Your Own Atrocities ' in your hands and ipods in the next few weeks.Tune in and Turn on to the Eisenhowers sound and you definitely won't 'drop-out'!

Go Dwight!!
