DVI Podcast 101 - Last November

Joining me this week is Luke Pilgrim, front man for Last November, based out of northern Georgia. The website says Atlanta, but they live a ways outside of town. L.N. has just recently released their sophomore CD Over The Top Or Under The Weather, which is produced by platinum-selling producer Steven Haigler (Brand New, Fuel, Oleander, Pixies, As Tall as Lions), and distributed by Southern Tracks Records, It was recorded and mixed at the Southern Tracks Studio in Atlanta, home to such artists as Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, Train, The Bravery, and Bruce Springsteen, and mastered by Rodney Mills (Butch Walker, Pearl Jam, Drive-By Truckers, Lynyrd Skynyrd, etc.).

Check out the interview by clicking the MP3 FILE link here.

Check out Last November at their WEBSITE or MYSPACE PAGE.

OUR 100th EPISODE!!!

DigiVegas
celebrates it's 100th episode!

What better way to celebrate the 100 show of an interview program than by sitting down and having a few drinks with a member of a band named Dialog, eh? Get it?

Dialog: A Conversation between two or more persons.

George George, the bassist joins me for one of the most entertaining conversations I've had since interviewing The Big Beat Battalion on episode 043,

George is a snappy dresser (he's the one wearing the kilt), a tremendous bass player, and an all around great guy. BUT BE WARNED: HE CURSES LIKE A SAILOR! So don't listen to this anywhere or in a way that could get you into trouble (around kids, sensitive adults, at work, etc.) Don the ear buds or earphones, or what have you, and enjoy music and conversation with Dialog from the London area. They rock!

Doenload the show's MP3 FILE here.

Check out Dialog at their MYSPACE PAGE.

DVI Podcast 099 - Music remyx 10

This is a combo episode: it's both digivegas 099 and music remyx 010.

You see, summertime being what it is, the busy season, I don't have an interview lined up for you this week. Since this week is my turn to host Music remyx, I figured I'd share with you some of what the other music podcasters out there are up to.

DVI Podcast 098 - Run West

In the mood for roasted apples?

My guest this week is NYC Indie band Run West. They are setting the Big Apple on fire with their debiut EP Inside The Trojan Horse. They have taken a somewhat novel approach to the release of it, they haven't pressed any hard copy. They have instead released it virtually. You can win your free copy of it by calling the DigiVegas Skype-In Line at 702-425-3263, or email me at iampaulie@gmail.com. I'll forward your email address to the band, and they'll send you mp3's. How's that sound?

You can download the show's MP3 FILE here.

Check out their Myspace Page here.

You can stream it by going to www.digivegas.com, and finding that MP3 FILE link. Hover your cursor over it, wait for the snap window to appear, and then click on the "play" triangle. It's just that easy.

ON A DIFFERENT NOTE: PLEASE VOTE FOR ENGLISH ROCKTRONICA BAND .SUB AS THEY COMPETE FOR THE FINAL SUPPORT SLOT AT THIS YEAR'S LOLLAPALOOZA MUSIC FESTIVAL IN GRANT PARK IN CHICAGO THIS YEAR. GO TO THIS LINK AND CAST A VOTE FOR A REALLY GREAT BAND. Now, here's what's really whacked about it all. You can vote for your favorite band once a day per email address, BUT 75 times per day per IP address. You KNOW that other bands are taking full edvantage of this by taking their laptops to every starbuck's in town. So let's help out a really great band by voting for them as many times as we can from our own homes and offices, ok? Hey, fair is fair, and a loophole is a loophole.

DVI Podcast 097 - Chris Belden

My guest this week is multi-talented, singer songwriter,
novelist, playwright, and published screenplay writer, Chris
Belden. His two CD's Songs About Anything and his new one
Camouflage have received a good amount of critical acclaim.
You can win them both by calling the Digivegas Skype-In line at
702-425-3263. Leave a message, tell us you want them, it's
just that simple. Don't forget to leave your mailing
address so we know where to send it, ok? (Yes, some people
have forgotten that!)

If we run out, you can still purchase his music at Chris Belden

Or at Amazon.com: Songs About Anything or Camouflage

You can check out Chris at his Website. Sorry,

he doesn't have a Myspace page. Funny, he talked about
being a pariah in his neighborhood in Ohio while attending the
University of Michigan...

You can download the show'sMP3 FILE here.

If you just want to stream it, hover your
cursor over the mp3 link and wait for the snap window to appear.
Then, all you have to do is click on the "play" arrow.
See? easy!

On another note, and not to steal any thunder from Chris, I'd like to encourage

everyone to please vote for English Rocktronica band .Sub
(episode 074) to help them compete for the final support slot at
Lollapalooza this year. Every vote counts, and you can vote
once a day for every email address you have. Please, they are
currently about 200 votes behind the leader, and only the leader
wins. Everyone else stays home. Please click on this
LINK to go to the voting page. Here's a link to their Myspace
Page
, if you want to know what you're voting for.

Thanks,

Adam, Matt (from
.Sub) and Paulie.
